One of Damien's basketball players and her family had a bunch of bunnies they needed to find homes for. We are always looking for more chores for our kids :) so we decided to get a couple. One of them has white socks on his feet, and I laughed and said, "We should name them Socks and Shoes." The kids thought that was great and it has stuck since then.
