St. Patrick's Day was a fun holiday and is looked forward to every year in our house. Around the end of April, McKoy wrote a little note to the leprechauns.
We did the whole "green food" thing: green chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, green mac and cheese for lunch. The kids think it tastes really good green! Mom, on the other hand, liked her green salad that hopefully cancelled out all the gold wrapped candy that was eaten.
We didn't see or hear anything from any leprechauns until St. Patrick's Day even though this note was taped to the calendar for a couple weeks.
We are pretty sure the leprechauns snuck in our house throught the garage door that mom and dad had accidentally left open all night and left these notes for each of the kids. We spent a lot of time looking for that treasure, until Addison remembered the treasure chest in mom and dad's room...Sure enough-those silly leprechauns had left practically every gold wrapped candy in the world, only to be devoured up by mom the entire Smith family!

You are what I inspire to be as a mom! :) Those darn leprachans snuck in but at least they left the candy:). Good thing they didn't leave them at my house because I'm pretty sure they would have been gone a little too quick!:)
