Addison Turns Two!

Our little Addison turned TWO on Sunday, August 23rd. We had a little party on Monday night with Smith's for Family Home Evening. She is such a blessing in our lives and brings us so many smiles and laughs. She is adjusting well to being a big sister, and loves Eden so much. She is really soft to her, and helps take care of her. I am amazed at how motherly she is. (I've noticed this with my nieces, too, and think it's so awesome that they come into this world knowing this) She had a few hard days after the baby was born, mostly with me, trying to understand if this new little girl would change our relationship. I think she now sees that it doesn't, and she is back to being my little sidekick. We love her so much! Her cute-pink-almost-collapsing-cuz-it-was-so-hot-in-our-house cake. She loved it and just kept saying, "Oh cute mom! Thanks!" She had to show everyone as soon as they walked in the door-so proud of it!

She got lots of fun "girl" toys (our house was seriously lacking in that department) including a doll stroller, high chair, and car seat from mom, dad, and Eden, a princess fishing game from her brothers, dress up stuff and a pink Boise State uniform from Mike, Tammie, and boys, and a little Wal Mart shopping cart (it's hilarious and she loves it) from Zane and Rachael. She also got little pots, pans, and utensils from Grandma and Grandpa Baldwin. My kids have the best grandparents in the world! We are so thankful for them!
