Easter Celebrations

Friday night before Eater weekend we went to a night Easter Egg Hunt at the Griffiths.  We had never been before but we will definitely go again!  The kids loved finding all the eggs with their flashlights and came home with overflowing baskets and fun prizes.  We came home late but got our Easter baskets ready and set out for the Easter Bunny.  Saturday we woke up and found that he did indeed come!  Everyone had lots of candy, a kite, the girls got buckets and shovels for the sand box, Carter got shot gun shells, McKoy got a shirt, Korver got a teeny basketball hoop and tennis shoes, Dad got new basketball shorts, and Mom got a Reese's Egg candy bar...smart bunny!  We ate candy and colored eggs most of the morning.

McKoy is always so good to help...Korvs liked coloring the eggs...

Carter was concerned about the Easter bunny knowing which basket was whose so he rigged up some name tags real quick.

We had a good time with Grandma and Grandpa Baldwin, Ericksons, Nate Baldwin's, and Poulters.  Mom made a great big ham dinner with lors of food and goodies and we had the kids do an easter egg hunt.  We drove two cars and I stayed to go to Snake River's Distinguished Young Woman program.  My awesome Tew cousins happened to have an extra ticket so I got to sit by Natalie, Callie, Aunt Jane, as well as Carlos and Natalie.  It was fun to watch Scout Baldwin perform and she did so good-ended up winning 1st alternate!  I'm really lucky to have such fun and amazing cousins-I always laugh hard when I'm with them and don't see them near enough!

Damien was good to bring all the kids home (the first time with all 5 by himself!!!)  He left the 3 youngest with Tammie for a bit while the boys went and shot guns.  He got them all to bed and all was well when I got home late.
