Double Digits {10}

I can't believe Carter is already ten!  A whole decade!!!  It makes me sad to see time speeding by so fast.  He has been such a blessing to us and we are eternally grateful to have him as our oldest son.

We started the day off witht he traditional breakfast in bed...well, couch, actually, since Carts takes after his dad and like to wake up way too early in the a.m.!

He was pretty excited to get to eat downstairs, something they are NOT supposed to do. (Yet, I frequently find cheese stick wrappers and cracker crumbs down there...hmmm...)

This kids are pretty lucky to have Carter as their big brother!
Carter LOVES Chick-fil-a (hes only been there twice but says it's his favorite) so we grabbed some chicken sandwiches and heading to Tautphaus Park playground, where we met up with Becky Hone and kids, Krishaun Player and kids, Aunt Megan Erickson and kids, Trey Poulter, and Grandma.

He loved the nice gifts he got: a rocket set from Erickson's and Poulter's, a BYU shirt from Grandma, and a kickball and candy from Player's and Hone's.

Korver enjoyed being outside and relaxing with Grandma.

All the boys-Trey Poulter, Jace Erickson, Ryker Player, Hayden Hone, Landon Player, McKoy, with Birthday boy in front

Some of the girls: Addison, Mallory Erickson, McKenna Erickson, Eden, and Sophie Hone.  Missing is Madelyn Erickson, Maddilyn Player, and Molly Hone
Carter is a pretty easy kid and never asks for much.  He did however, want this DS game pretty bad and was excited to get it!  We also got him an ITunes gift card so he could buy his own music and videos.
We had Ryker, Landon, Hayden, Jace, and Trey sleep over.  We set the tent up and they were all excited to sleep outside.  By midnight, though, the tent was empty and the family room floor filled up as one by one, each kids slipped back inside.  :)
We had pizza and pop (surprise surprise since Carter could eat it for every meal...)
Trey and Eden were the silly face champions!
Adds was pretty good too!

We were glad to be able to have these good boys in our home for the night and appreciated their kindness and good manners.  Carter was so excited for this day to come and we tried hard to make him feel extra special!   We love Carter!
