The Boys' New Hobby

The boys' new hobby is trapping.  Damien grew up trapping with his dad and he has been wanting to start getting back into it with Carter and McKoy.   They have been really successful this year, especially with beavers.  This last one he got was HUGE.  And UGLY!!!  I hadn't ever seen a beaver up close before the boys started bringing them home, but believe me when I say they are UGLY!   But having a little extra money from their furs is nice, and the boys love going with their dad to check the traps!

This ugly thing was seriously HUGE-Damien struggled holding it up for a quick picture.

Eeww!  There tails feel so weird!  And their teeth (the four big teeth in front) never stop growing and are made of orange enamel.  They look gross, because they really are orange!!!  And big!  Like I said, EEWW!!! :)
