Hugh+Candace=Wedding!

After four years of dating, it finally happened!  Hugh and Candace got married!  How happy we are all to have her as part of our family.  She is so kind, giving, and beautiful!  She's every grand kid's favorite and let's not forget to mention how crafty and creative she is.

We were able to give her a Bridal Shower a few weeks before the wedding.  Her mom was able to come up and it was so nice to get to know her better.  She is so kind and I see where Candace gets her Christlike attributes.

Thursday, September 22, 2011 was the big day.  Damien wasn't able to take the day off work, so I took the kids down by myself.  It was a beautiful day and the temple grounds looked so nice.  We had all the grand kids wait in the youth waiting room during the sealing-I was worried the whole time but when we came out all the kids had done great.  Hugh and Candace make a great couple!  We are so happy for them!

They had the luncheon at Texas Roadhouse.  Yum!  The reception later that night was awesome!  We had to fit pictures in before it started.  That poor photographer!  We are quite the clan to try and get all together and looking decent for a picture.  Here's one with all the grand kids (except for Brenna, Bailey, and Jackson-who is serving a mission in Mexico) and the happy bride and groom.

There was a lot of waiting that day.  The kids did pretty good though.  Here's a cute group of girls in their little dresses we found on clearance at Seagull Book and necklaces Marie had Conner's teacher make them.  Ashley Cache made all the flower headbands for them, too.

The boys were a little more active during their waiting time.  Here they are in a serious game of "Duck, Duck, Goose".

The Baldwin Family-mom, dad, and all 9 kids

Candace with the little girls-except for Eden who was NOT going to sit for another picture that day.

After the reception, they had a dance-with a live DJ and everything!  The kids loved watching Hugh and Candace during their first dance.  It was fun watching all the kids join in later and bust a move!  It was so fun, but I sure missed having my dancing partner there.

We had a reception in Idaho on Saturday night.  It turned out great-not a surprise since Susan was in charge!

Candace's mom had a cute idea of making a line of kids holding sparklers for the happy couple to walk down as they headed off!

We are so thankful for Candace and what a good heart she has.  They seem very happy and we are so glad for them!
