Damien took Carter and Addison camping the first weekend in April with Grandpa Smith, Tammie, Colter, and Cody. Ashley stayed home to look after Mckoy, who was still healing from getting his tonsils out (he saw Dr. McGee later that week on April 6 and was deemed ready to return to normal eating and activity), and Eden, who was fighting yet another cold and a stomach bug or the latest virus going around.
They went to Salmon and tried to catch a steel head or two. Addison, unfortunately, got sick to her stomach a threw up a couple of times, resulting in a early arrival home! They still had a fun time, and she still tells everyone she went camping, but threw up in Grandpa's camper toilet...Carter stayed with them to finish the trip and it was fun for him to run around with Colter and Cody!
Damien had a week of Spring Break this year, from April 4-8. Sadly, the weather didn't cooperate with any plans he made. It was cold and rainy almost everyday! It was nice to have him around, though, and he is a big help around this place.
